The Gateway to West Cornwall

We look forward to welcoming you and look forward to hearing your stories of amazing discovery, fabulous food or awesome waves.
Wake up early and watch the sun rise over St Michael’s Mount, pack a picnic and watch it disappear from Land’s End. There are hundreds of places to find and explore, here are a selection of our favourite to help you start your adventure, we look forward to seeing you…
Penzance also has much to offer, you can explore scenic coastal walks and historical landmarks in the picturesque town. From The Dolphin, you can wake up and walk mere metres to catch your ferry to the Isles Of Scilly. The pub is also ideally situated for various leisure activities such as fishing, boating, and beachcombing.
You can take a stroll along the only Victorian promenade in Cornwall, or go for a dip in the Jubilee Pool – the UK’s biggest and most celebrated art deco sea water lido in Penzance. Get your culture fix by taking in a show at the Minack Theatre or visiting Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens.
St Ives
With the Scillonian steamship making regular departures just metres away on Penzance harbourside, The Dolphin Tavern is an ideal resting point for travellers to or from the magical Isles of Scilly.
